What is the Plug-On Version of the QOB120AS?
Issue:
Was there ever a plug-on version of the QOB120AS Powerlink circuit breaker?
Product Line:
Powerlink panelboards and circuit breakers sold and supported in the USA.
Environment:
Replacement/maintenance.
Cause:
The NQOD panelboard took both plug-on and bolt-on branches as standard. Is this the same for Powerlink?
Resolution:
Yes. The plug-on style QO120AS was obsoleted in 2006, and the replacement QOB120AS is also obsolete. Replace both with the QOB120ASB.
The QOB120ASB/QO120ASB Powerlink breakers are obsolete and have no direct replacement. The customer can install a QO120/QOB120 and then control the load with a contactor.
