How does the remote trip indicator switch for the ELM150HD and ELM250JD work?

Issue:
Remote trip indicator for ELM modules

Product Line:
Circuit Breakers

Resolution:
The remote indicator switch is a triac. If the indicator power source is AC, it will close only momentarily (about 20 milliseconds) and in this case, no reset is needed.
If the power source is DC, it will remain closed and will need to be reset by momentarily removing the DC supply from the indicator terminals.
