What are the correct micro-ohm readings (contact resistance) for an HVL/cc switch?

Issue:
When do switch contacts need to be replaced on a HVL/cc switch ?

Product Line:
HVL/cc Medium voltage Switch

Environment:
Maintenance

Cause:
Preventative

Resolution:
The contact life can be verified by performing a millivolt or micro-ohm meter test. The value should not increase by 300% of the original value of 80 micro-ohms using a 100 A test micro-ohm meter. (Should not exceed 240 micro-ohms). NOTE: The loads may not be the same on each phase. Therefore, the contact resistance will vary on each phase.
