When new versions of PowerChute are released, Schneider Electric will continue to provide full technical support to customers for the previous version for a minimum of 1 year after the new version is released. In practice, Schneider Electric typically goes far beyond this stated commitment, but this 1-year policy is stated here so customers may take it into account for planning purposes.

  • The current shipping version of PowerChute Network Shutdown is 5.2 It was released in April 2025
  • PowerChute Business Edition has been discontinued, and support has ended.
  • PowerChute Personal Edition has been discontinued, and support will end January 2026.
  • The current shipping version of PowerChute Serial Shutdown is version 1.4. It was released in November 2025.
  • PowerChute Plus was discontinued in March 2007, and support has ended.
