Can a remote speed signal be wired to an ATV212 S-Flex drive?

Resolution:

Yes. The ATV212 S‑Flex drive supports remote speed reference signals. A 0–10 VDC, 0–20 mA, or 4–20 mA analog input signal can be connected to the VIA terminal on the drive.

The VIB terminal supports only 0–10 V input or a PTC motor thermal probe.

Important:
The analog input behavior is configured using the drive’s DIP switches, which select whether the terminal operates in Voltage, Current, or PTC mode. Ensure the DIP switch settings match the signal type being applied.
