ATS01: What does the R1A–R1C relay indicate?

Resolution:
On ATS01 models ending in LT, LU, QN, or RT, terminals R1A–R1C provide a relay contact. This relay is not a dedicated fault relay.

-The relay is open when the motor is stopped.
-The relay is closed when the motor is running.

However, the ATS01 also monitors for unsynchronized current conditions (such as loss of power or no load current). If such a condition is detected, the relay will open, indicating a fault.
Additionally, very low current levels can trigger a fault condition, as the thyristors require a minimum current to operate correctly.
