On an ATV312, is drive protection compromised when Output Phase Loss is disabled (OPL = NO)?

Issue:
Setting OPL = NO on an ATV312

Product Line:
Altivar 312

Environment:
All

Cause:
Need to turn off OPL, possibly for testing purposes

Resolution:
OPL is an output phase loss detection.  This feature is intended to protect the motor from imbalanced current or single phasing.  Disabling the feature has no adverse affect on the drive; however, it should only be disabled for testing the drive without a motor connected or if drive is installed with a full voltage bypass.
