Is an IFM module required to connect an electronic trip PowerPacT H, J, or L frame breaker to an FDM display?

Issue:
Is an IFM module required to connect an electronic PowerPacT H, J or L frame breaker to an FDM display?

Product Line:
PowerPacT H, J and L frame breakers

Resolution:
No, the IFM (modbus interface module) is not required when using the FDM (front display module). The only component required is an NSX cord to connect the trip unit to the FDM. You may also use the BSCM in addition to the NSX cord if breaker status is needed. You do need to supply 24 Vdc (-20% to +10% or 19.2 to 26.4Vdc) to the FDM, which in turn powers the trip unit display.
