Line Interface.

Resolution
The following procedure can be used to change the IP address of a ConneXium TCSESM switch
when the PC is connected to it using a V.24 cable.
- Connect one end of the V.24 cable to the V.24 port on the switch and the other end to the PC's COM port..
- Start 'Hyper Terminal' and open a connection using 9600, 8,None, 1 as shown below.
- Log into the switch using
Password: private
- Type 'enable' at the prompt and hit the Enter key.
- Type 'network protocol none' and hit the Enter key.
- Type 'network parms <ip address> <network mask> <gateway address> and hit the Enter key.
- Type 'copy system:running-config nvram:startup-config' and hit the Enter key.
- Type ' y ' to answer the question on for saving the changes and hit the Enter key.
- Type 'logout' and hit the Enter key.
- Disconnect 'Hyper Terminal' from the switch.
