Issue:
When creating a located variable of data type REAL in an M340 or M580 application, is there an addressing restriction?
Product Line:
M340, M580, Control Expert, Unity Pro
Resolution:
Yes. When programming an M340 or M580 application with Unity Pro, the located REAL variables must be assigned EVEN starting addresses such as %MW2 .%MW4, %MW50 . Addresses using
odd numbers such as %MW1, %MW3 or %MW49 would not be acceptable. Any 32 bit data type would have to follow this regimen. (DINT,DWORD,etc)
