170AEC92000 High Speed Counter with 170FNT11001 FIPIO Communication Adapter Is Not Supported With a Premium on FIPIO Network

The purpose of this resolution is to inform users of Premium PLC's and PL7 or Unity Programming software that the Momentum High Speed counter is not supported on FIPIO.

The 170AEC92000 High Speed Counter, when mounted with a 170FNT11001 FIP I/O Communication Adapter, is not supported because it cannot be configured using Unity or PL7 programming software in Debug Mode. It was decided by Marketing in August of 2007 that this issue would not be resolved. (Reference DMDI 1716E)
