This product was discontinued on 9/24.

Cause:

The 174CEV20040 Modbus Plus to Ethernet Bridge didn’t have the correct time but the user didn’t know how to set it up

Resolution:

To change the Time and Date on a 174CEV20040 bridge, the procedure must be performed using the Monitor Console Mode.

1. Connect a standard PC keyboard, mouse, and VGA monitor directly to the bridge connectors.
2. Power on the bridge and access the Monitor Console screen.
• Initially, all controls are grayed out and the data fields are read‑only.
3. Under Administrator Account, select Login and enter the administrator password.
• The default password is password.
• Once logged in, the controls become active and Login changes to Logout.
4. In the Troubleshooting Tools section, open the drop‑down menu and scroll to Time and Date, then select Run.
5. In the Time and Date properties window, update the required values and select OK to save the changes.

Note: After all changes have been made press the Reboot button for the system to reboot and all changes to take effect.
