Goals and Symptoms

When you have a power failure or when you switch off the power, the outgoing of XB5S will be have the last Status, that means, that the outgoing is in "Switch on" Position. Is this true? It is dangerous when you have switched a function and you can't set it back after power failure. Is this known for you?

Causes and Fixes

They have a PNP or NPN transistor output. This means that when the product is not powered anymore, the transistor output will not be triggered, and the output will become or stay open, depending of its initial state.

The Biometric switch memorise the state of the output before power off. This means that when it will be powered again the output will come back to the state it was before power off.
