MV-90: Meter Events
Issue:
How to retrieve meter events in MV‑90 and decode the events that MV‑90 reports.

TIM: Translation/Interface Module
Cause:
Event codes/Descriptions can differ between what the meter records and what MV‑90 shows, and not all events may be retrieved directly. Conversion/mapping depends on the TIM.
Resolution:
About event retrieval
- The TIM automatically reads the meter Event Log for the same time period as an All/Partial Read.
To retrieve events:
- Perform an All/Partial Read.
- Go to Meter Events → Event Maintenance → choose the RecorderID.
- Change the Start Date to an earlier date → Go.
About decoding MV‑90 event codes:
- Refer to the latest TIM_Appnote in:
C:\MV90xi\TIMs(contains conversion of ION events to MV‑90 events).
