Erroneous Transient Detection Spikes on ION7650
Issue
Single sample transients on V1 and V2 channels simultaneously of the same magnitude.

Cause
The cause stems from an erroneous output from the internal analog to digital converters.
The affected meters are all of ION 7550/7650 power meters which were manufactured before September 30, 2008, and upgraded to FW V352.
The issue has not been found with other firmware versions.
Resolution
There is no resolution at this time.
The suggested workaround is to downgrade to V340 or V350 firmware.
The first serial numbers where the problem was eliminated are PJ-0809A500 for ION 7650.
