One can find out the FW version of any meter (Legacy or ION) in ION Setup by going to the Meter diagnostics button (looks like a stethoscope) in the ION Setup toolbar.
Then, go to the general tab to find the Firmware version.
For more information one can also find out the FW version by connecting to the meter over telnet. This only applies to Ethernet connected meters.
