How are kW and kWh resets performed on a Multi-Circuit Meter (MCM)?

Issue

Multi-Circuit Meter user would like to perform a reset of kW and kWh reset on specific circuits.

Product Line:

MCM, Multi-Circuit Meter

Resolution:

In order to perform resets, there must be communications established to the MCM.  Resetting these values only resets on the circuit designated by the Modbus Unit ID.  Use the dip switches to establish a base address, then the circuit number will be an offset address from the base.  (Reference Page 5 of the datasheet)

Resetting kWh
In order to reset kWh on a MCM, write a value of 0 to either of the kWh integer registers (registers 1 or 2).

Resetting Min/Max/Avg. kW
Writing ANY value to any of the minimum kW, maximum kW, or average kW integer registers (registers 28, 29, and 27, respectively) rests all three of these values.
