What would cause the Memory Consumption tool in Unity Pro to be Grayed out?

The Memory Consumption tool is not available in Simulation Mode. If you started in Simulation mode, which into Simulation mode and did a build, or connected to the Simulator you will not have access to PLC>Memory Consumption. To use this tool switch into Standard mode and build your project.
