Is a neutral CT needed on a system with just 3 wire downstream loads?

Issue:
Does a Micrologic circuit breaker with an LSIG trip unit require a neutral CT if it feeds just 3-wire downstream loads (no neutral)?

Product Line:
Molded Case Breakers

Resolution:
No, in this case the neutral CT would have no place to install and would have no function.

Note that for Masterpact and Powerpact breakers with LSIG trip units, if there is no neutral CT, you need to ensure there is a jumper between terminals T1 and T2.
