An error occurred while processing the report parameters. Please see your system administrator.

Issue
When attempting to run a report in Struxureware Power Monitoring Web Reporter the following error is generated.

"An error occurred while processing the report parameters.  Please see your system administrator."

The System Log within Management Console displays the following errors.

"No dynamic control instance exists for logic 'DateRange' of type 'MissingDynamicControl'
from report template '/ION Reports/ION Report Packs/Default Reports/Tabular Report'"

"An error occurred while initializing prerequisite page: DynamicPrerequisitePage.ascx"

"Error adding report parameters to session while retrieving report parameters."

Environment
Microsoft Internet Explorer 11

Cause
Internet Explorer 11 is not natively supported.

Resolution
Add site address to compatibility view settings.
1.) In Internet Explorer click the gear in the top right.
2.) Select Compatibility View settings



3.) Add localhost to the list
4.) After clicking close the Internet Explorer page should refresh and operate properly.



If the above does not work check to make sure these files are in these folders:

• Folder ...\web\aspnet_client\PetersDatePackage (e.g. "C:\Program Files (x86)\Schneider Electric\Power Monitoring Expert\web\aspnet_client\PetersDatePackage")
• Folder ...\web\images\PetersDatePackage (e.g. "C:\Program Files (x86)\Schneider Electric\Power Monitoring Expert\web\images\PetersDatePackage")
• Component PetersDatePackage.dll in ...\system\bin and ...\web\bin

If the folders do not exist run a reconfigure from the PME disc.
If the dll files do not exist add them to the appropriate folders listed.

Note: Power Monitoring Expert 8.x natively supports Internet Explorer 11. It is recommended to upgrade in order to ensure full compatibility.
