What Is the Maximum Cable Distance for Remotely Mounting a VW3A1101 Graphic Display on an ATV61 or ATV71 Drive?
Resolution:
Schneider Electric does not offer a standard solution for mounting the VW3A1101 graphic display at distances as far as 150 ft (46 m) from the drive.
The maximum approved cable length available for the VW3A1101 is 10 m (32.8 ft) using the following remote-mounting cable options:
- VW3A1104R10 – 1 m cable
- VW3A1104R30 – 3 m cable
- VW3A1104R50 – 5 m cable
- VW3A1104R100 – 10 m cable
Although no Schneider Electric standard offering is available beyond 10 m, some customers have successfully implemented a custom configuration with a cable distance of up to 200 ft (61 m). Please refer to the attached documentation.
Note:
This configuration is not a standard Schneider Electric solution, therefore, performance cannot be guaranteed.
