On the ATV61/71 series drives, how do I assign a function to a logic input and a bit within the command word?

Issue:
How do I assign a function to a logic input and a bit within the command word?

Product Line:
ATV61 and ATV71 series drives

Environment:
Drives being used with serial communication control other than Modbus RTU or CanOpen, and configured for I/O Profile.

Cause:
Customer needs to assign a function to a logic input AND a bit within the command word but the function only allows 1 assignment.

Resolution:
The "CD" functions are designed to assign a function to both a logic input and a bit within the command word.   As an example, the command "RUN REVERSE" can be assigned to LI3 and bit 2 of the command word by setting "RUN REVERSE" to CD02.

The CD commands are configured as followed:

CD02 = LI3 and Bit 2
CD03 = LI4 and Bit 3
CD04 = LI5 and Bit 4
CD05 = LI6 and Bit 5
CD06 = LI7 and Bit 6
CD07 = LI8 and Bit 7
CD08 = LI9 and Bit 8
CD09 = LI10 and Bit 9
CD10 = LI11 and Bit 10
CD11 = LI12 and Bit 11
CD12 = LI13 and Bit 12
CD13 = LI14 and Bit 13
CD14 = Bit 14 (There is no LI 15)
CD15 = Bit15 (There is no LI16)
