What can cause an EEF1 control EEPROM fault on the ATV61 and ATV71 drives?

Issue:
EEF1 control eeprom fault on an Altivar ATV61 ATV71

Product Line:
Altivar drives ATV61 and ATV71

Environment:

Cause:
Internal memory fault on the control board.

Resolution:
EEF1= Control EEPROM fault.
Save a copy of the program in the keypad display 1st
Try resetting the drive back to a factory default to see if the fault will clear.
If the fault does not clear you will need get the drive repaired or try to replace the main control board.
