Why do I get the Vijeo Designer error 2897?

Issue
When compiling the following is returned:
Error 2897: [COM1] has been selected in more than one driver or peripheral.

Resolution
This error states that the program is configured to access the RS232C COM1 port from two devices. The RTU driver and the printer driver. You must deactivate one of them.
