What can cause an OLF or overload fault on the ATV61 and ATV71 drives?

Issue:
Overload fault on the ATV61/ATV71 drives.

Product Line:
Altivar ATV61 and ATV71 drives.

Environment:
All

Cause:
Motor is pulling to many amps and drive is tripping out on OLF fault.

Resolution:
OLF= Overload fault this fault is triggered by excessive motor current.
Check your Motor thermal setting in the Simply Start menu and make sure it equals the motor FLA rating on the motor's nameplate.
Check your load.  Run the motor and using the monitoring menu 1.2 check to see what the LCR motor parameter is displaying.  If the motor is pulling to many amps you will need to check to see what is causing your motor to overload.
