How to install a shorting contactor with interposing relay on the ATS480 soft starters?

How to install a shorting contactor on the ATS480?

Resolution:
To install a shorting contactor, a contactor that engages when the soft start is up to full speed, on the ATS480.
  1. Install an interposing relay to control the shorting contactor
  1. The supply for the interposing relay is wired to R2C or the Soft start
  2. R2A is wired to A1 of the interposing relay
  3. A2 of the interposing relay is wired to the neutral/common of the supply voltage
  1. The shorting contactor will be energized by the interposing relay.
  1. The supply voltage of the shorting contactor is wired to a normally open contact on the interposing relay.
  2. A1 of the shorting contactor is wired to the opposite side of the same normally open contact on the interposing relay.
  3. A2 is wired to the neutral/common of the supply voltage for the shorting contactor.
