How are the trip unit settings determined for a Micrologic trip unit on MasterPact, PowerPacT, and legacy circuit breakers?

Issue:
Trip unit settings for a Micrologic trip unit on Masterpact, Powerpact, and legacy circuit breakers

Product Line:
Powerpact P frame, Powerpact R frame, and Masterpact circuit breakers

Resolution:
MasterPact and PowerPacT circuit breakers with Micrologic trip units are shipped with the long time pickup set at 1.0 and all other trip unit adjustments set fully counterclockwise at their lowest settings.
Actual settings required for a specific application must be determined by a qualified consultant or plant engineer. A coordination study is recommended to provide coordination between all circuit breakers in the distribution system.
