What does Low impedance busway mean and does Schneider Electric's busway comply?

Issue:
Compliance for busway as low impedance busway

Product Line:
I-Lein Busway

Environment:
Products sold in North America

Resolution:
The term "Low Impedance" comes from the specific design of the busway product. When conductors are sandwiched together and in very close proximity to the housing, you get lower impedance in the conductor.

Some competitors use "Low impedance busway"in their specification as a marketing strategy but all busway manufacturers that offer a compact sandwich design, consider their product as Low Impedance.  The benefits of the sandwich style design provides lower impedance and lower reactance which gives the user a low resistance product. Additional benefits of this type of design is superior heat dissipation, smaller overall footprint and less voltage drop.
