How do you set up the VW3A1101 keypad so that you can use the keypad to program the drive?
Resolution:
The VW3A1101 keypad can normally be used to view and modify the drive configuration. If parameters cannot be accessed or changed, verify the drive's access level and check whether a password protection feature has been enabled. Both of these settings can restrict access to configuration parameters.
The procedure for changing the access level varies depending on the drive model. For example, on an ATV61, navigate to:
Main Menu >> 2 Access Level >> Expert
Setting the access level to Expert provides access to all configuration parameters. If parameter access is still restricted after changing the access level, verify that a configuration password has not been applied to the drive.
Also, keep in mind that many parameters cannot be modified while the drive is running. If a parameter is read-only or unavailable, stop the drive and try again.
