Why do both sides of an RFID dual station allow charging when the card is swiped?

Issue:
The customer is concerned that both sides of the dual station allow charging.

Product Line:
PTEVC - Electric Vehicle Charging Stations

Environment:
All RFID enabled UL charging stations

Cause:
RFID reader single output.

Resolution:
The EV station only has one RFID reader. For the dual station, EV230PDRR,  it must activate both sides to allow the user to use either connector. A two minute timer is set when the RFID card is swiped - one connector or both must be attached to the EV during that time.  If the user does not connect within 2 minutes, then the unit will reset until the card is swiped again.
