How to re-install Connexium Network Manager without losing the authorization.

The following steps can be used to re-install the Connexium Network Manager (CNM) software without losing the authorization:
  • Start CNM.
  • Create a backup zip file by clicking on File\Save Backup.
  • Close CNM.
  • Insert the CNM installation CD
  • Run the setup for the CNM installation (This will uninstall CNM).  After the uninstall finishes, you will be prompted to run the setup again.
  • Install CNM by running the setup again.
  • Start CNM.
  • The configuration and database information should appear after starting up.  The license information should also still be preserved.
  • Restore the backup if needed.
