Issue:

After the SCADAPack 50 Gateway Installation user cannot start the server and observes the pink SCADAPack 50 Gateway Server Icon in the system tray. By accessing the Server menu top line indicates the license issue:

and following error message:

This issue is relevant to SCADAPack 50 Gateway (ClearSCADA 2015) software and SCADAPack 50.

SCADAPack 50 Gateway is based on a lightened version of StruxureWare SCADA Expert ClearSCADA which will include many of the base product features disabled. The licence is available with a USB “hard-key” only, no soft-key activations are available for the SP50 Gateway product. There are no configuration choices for this product, the SCADAPack 50 Gateway includes:

• Database points : 50 000
• Web Clients : 0
• ViewX Client : 50
• Data Clients : 256
• IEC 61131 Logic to perform the calculations

and the following drivers are included:

• SCADAPack 50
• SQL Export

Resolution:

In order to fix the issue we need to launch Server Configuration tool:

navigate to System Configuration > Alarms and uncheck the Alarms and Events Enabled checkbox:



Restart the server and problem will be fixed.
