What is the signification of WAIT state in a M580 Hotstandby system

For the Quantum / Premium users, this state is close to the "Run offline" state in Quantum or Premium hot standby.

The PAC enters this state when the conditions are not met to be either Primary or standby, for instance when both PAC's rotary switches are on "A", or when one of the PAC is not connected on the Remote IO network.
Look at "Hot Standby State Assignments and Transitions" in the M580 hot standby system planning guide for more details.

In the WAIT state, the PAC continues to communicate with other modules on the local rack, and
can execute program logic, if configured to do so.
