XXMIT Function Code 3 may exhibit error 11 or error 127

This Resolution describes the issue using the XMIT, XXMIT, or L9_XMIT Function Blocks with Function Code 3 in Unity V8, Unity V8.1, or Unity V10.
Facts and Changes
When executing function code 3 with any of the XXMIT Function Blocks, an error 11 or error 127 may be displayed and the block will not work. The issue may occur if the XMIT, XXMIT, or L9_XMIT is programmed using Unity V8, V8.1, or V10.

This Resolution describes the issue using the XMIT, XXMIT, or L9_XMIT Function Blocks with Function Code 3 in Unity V8, Unity V8.1, or Unity V10.

Causes and Fixes
The issue is resolved in:
1. Unity 8 with HotFix (UnityPro_V80_ HF0294874R) see attachments
2. Unity 11.
2. Unity 11.
* A HotFix is not available for Unity V8.1 or Unity V10.
* The size of the Msg In ARRAY must be equal to the amount of words being read.
* This is a Unity solution only and does NOT require any firmware upgrades to the processors.
