How do I connect my PC to my Altivar drive?

No. Altivar drives do not offer a direct RS232 communication interface.

To connect an Altivar drive to a computer, Schneider Electric provides communication accessories that use the drive's RJ45 port. The most common option is the:

TCSMCNAM3M002P USB-to-RJ45 cable

This cable allows a PC with a USB port to communicate with compatible Schneider Electric devices through their RJ45 communication port.

Compatible Devices

The TCSMCNAM3M002P cable can be used with various Schneider Electric products, including:

• Altivar drives
• Altistart motor starters
• Advantys OTB
• Schneider Electric HMIs
• Altivar Controllers
