How to create Status point or an Alarm for IO not responding?
Using E-series configurator and configuring the Scadapack 535E RTU.
Under IO Folder>Scadapack IO; configure 6601 module address 0. Enter Status Point number 500. Write configuration to the scadapack then restart RTU.
Add point 500 as Binary input in the Point browser: If DNP binary input point 500 value is 1; The 6601 module address 0 is responding
If DNP binary input point 500 value is 0; The 6601 module address 0 is NOT responding.
Also, using the Analog input point under Points folder, Read from the controller and see point quality flags indicates.
