PME 8.0/8.1 - Designer crashes when attempting to open a 3300 ACM meter

Issue
When attempting to open a 3300 ACM in Designer to configure the meter, the system prompts the following error and results in a crash.

Cause
Designer crashes as a result of the ACM 3300 meter returning "330" for its Device type rather than "3300".

Resolution
**Warning: Take backups of any files prior to modifying them. Ensure the backups are in a location that will not be overwritten (i.e. the Desktop).
A patch is available to resolve this issue within Designer. (set3300.zip attached below)
To deploy this patch, please perform the following:

• Make a backup copy of set3300.dat, which you will find in the following folder: <PME installation folder>\system\etc
  • E.g. C:\Program Files (x86)\Schneider Electric\Power Monitoring Expert\system\etc\set3300.dat
• Copy the new version of set3300.dat over top of the original version.

Alternatively, as a workaround you may use ION Setup to perform the meter configuration. (The latest version of ION Setup can be obtained from FA212816)
*It is expected that support for the 3300 in Designer will be phased out in a future software release.
