Is it possible to increase the lifespan of the Magelis / Harmony HMI screen by turning down the brightness?

XBTGC/GK/GT, HMIGTO/GTU/STO/STU, Box PC, Panel PC, Magelis, HMI, life cycle

Resolution:
When current applied the backlight is decreased, lifetime will be extended.  However, power is always provided to the LCD panel, even if LCD entering Standby and Sleep mode.  Therefore, there is no way to extend the lifetime of the screen.
