Can a TeSys T overload relay be installed on a type S starter in the field?

Issue:
Would like to retrofit a TeSys T into an existing starter

Product Line:
TeSys T Motor Management Controller

Environment:
Pre-Existing Type S Starter Installations

Resolution:
The NEMA type S starters with melting alloy, bimetal, or solid state overloads use a different backplate, as well as different bus, from the starters with TeSys T overloads.
The backplate and bus are not sold separetly.
As such the TeSys T cannot be retrofitted to an existing starter, a new starter with TeSys T overload installed from the factory will need to be ordered.
