Software Protection Failure. No key found or no license available from network.
Issue
Scada server was rebooted after Windows Updates were applied.

Once the Scada project runs, the following message appears and none of the devices are communicating:

Product Line
PowerLogic Scada (all versions)
PowerSCADA Expert (all versions)

Environment
Scada Runtime Manager

Cause
While there are several reasons, in this case the problem was that the server IP address did not match the IP address assigned in Scada project.
Running Computer Setup Wizard on the server, indicated that the server role could only be a Client machine.  A correct project setting would have Server and Control Client enabled and selected.

Resolution
In Citect Project Editor select Network Addresses (Servers menu).  Assign an IP address that matches the server IP address.  If server has multiple NIC cards, each IP Address assigned to a NIC Card needs to be added seperately to the project. Compile and run the project.

NOTE: Assigning a static IP address to the server would eliminate future modifications as the server IP address remains constant and not change in case the server is rebooted.
