What Is the Difference Between ATV930 Drives With and Without the “C” Suffix?
Resolution:
The difference between ATV930 part numbers comes down to the presence of an internal braking component:
-
Without “C” suffix:
The drive includes an internal braking transistor, allowing direct connection of a braking resistor. -
With “C” suffix:
The drive does not include an internal braking transistor.
If dynamic braking is required, an external braking unit must be purchased and installed.
