Video: Data Center Expert | How do I control APC Switched Rack PDUs?
Issue:
Process for controlling APC Switched Rack PDU outlets from StruxureWare Data Center Expert.
Product Line:
StruxureWare Data Center Expert (DCE)
- Virtual Appliance (AP94VMACT)
- Basic Appliance (AP9465)
- Standard Appliance (AP9470)
- Enterprise Appliance (AP9475)
Environment:
StruxureWare Data Center Expert (all versions)
APC Switched Rack PDUs
Resolution:
1) Log into the DCE client and navigate to the Monitoring perspective and Device View pane.
2) Right-click on the Switched Rack PDU and select Outlet Control.
3) Select the checkboxes for the outlets that you would like to control.
NOTE: When you perform a command at an outlet that is part of an outlet group, that command will be executed at all outlets in the group.
4) Select the command to perform for the selected outlets.
5) Select perform command and the commands will be issued to the outlets that are selected.
