PowerLogic PM800 Recommended Replacement

Cause

The PM800 series meters appear to be obsolete in the SE website.

Resolution
The PowerLogic PM800 series was originally launched in 2003. The PM810s and PM820s are replaced by the PM5500 and the PM850s and PM870s are replaced by the PM8000.

Repair Service will continue through December 30, 2021, or until components are no longer available

●The meter will continue to be supported in the power monitoring software offers as a legacy device

●Technical support will continue indefinitely, though by 2021 support will be limited to basic support (User manual information)

Note:

The PM800 series meter has the same form factor than its replacement PM5000 or PM8000 series meters
For installation and configuration of the PM5000 and PM8000 series meters, please refer to their instruction sheet and installation guide respectively versus the PM800's.
