Powerpact H, J, L or NSX breaker with advanced trip unit displays STOP error which will not reset
Issue:
Trip unit display shows “STOP” or "Reset? OK"
Product Line:
Circuit Breakers:

Environment:
Powerpact H, J, L or NSX breaker with advanced trip unit

Resolution:
When STOP shows up on the display, to reset, press OK 2x.  Screen should clear and become functional.
Possible causes and (remedy) for the STOP error are:
  1. Neutral Current Transformer (ENCT) is declared but not connected to trip unit terminals T1-T2.  (Connect ENCT, un-declare it in the trip unit display, or place a jumper between terminals T1-T2).
  2. BSCM failure (properly connect or remove BSCM).
If neither of the above are the case, there is an internal fault with trip unit and the only remedy is to replace it if replaceable; otherwise replace the breaker.
