Resolution:
Follow these steps to configure the drive for 2-wire control:
- From the main menu, navigate to: CONF → FULL → I/O (I_O-)
- Locate the TCC parameter.
- Set TCC = 2C to enable 2-wire control.
Selecting the 2-Wire Control Type
After enabling 2-wire control, choose the desired operating mode using the TCT parameter:
- TRN (Transition Mode) - Default setting
- LEL (Level Mode)
Operating Modes
Transition Mode (TRN)
- The drive must be powered on before a run command is issued.
- A transition of the run signal is required to start the drive.
- Recommended for most applications.
Level Mode (LEL)
- The run command can remain active while the drive is powered off.
- When power is restored, the drive will start automatically if the run command is present.
- If no run command is present, the drive will remain in RDY (Ready) status until a run command is received.
Warning: Level Mode (LEL) may cause the drive to start automatically after a power cycle. Ensure this behavior is safe and appropriate for your application before enabling it.
