Can the ATV630 be powered using only a 24VDC control supply for parameter setup?
Resolution:
Yes. The Altivar Process ATV600 series (including the ATV630) can be powered using an external +24VDC control supply only.
To do this:
- Connect the external +24VDC supply to terminal P24
- Connect the external common to terminal 0V
This will power the control circuit and display (HMI), allowing you to:
- Access the interface
- Configure and modify parameters
The main power supply is not required for basic setup and programming.
