How to determine the firmware version for Micrologic A, P and H trip units

Issue:
What is the firmware version for

• Micrologic 3.0A, 5.0A and 6.0A trip units
• Micrologic 5.0P and 6.0P trip units
• Micrologic 5.0H and 6.0H trip units

Resolution:
Micrologic A Trip Units (3.0A, 5.0A, 6.0A)
The Micrologic A trip units do not have a means to access the firmware version in the field. Since January 2010, they have been using firmware version V01.029.

Micrologic P and H Trip Units (5.0P, 6.0P, 5.0H, 6.0H)
The Micrologic P and H trip units have a means to access the firmware version in the field.
The trip unit screen must have a display (must be powered).
1. On the screen on front of the P and H trip unit, press the "wrench" button
2. Scroll down to "Micrologic setup", and press enter
3. Scroll down to "Breaker selection", and press enter
4. At the very bottom of the P or H trip unit screen is the firmware version (example: PLogic-2014AN)

Note: The firmware version of Micrologic  A/P/H trip units cannot be updated.
