Video: How do you wire and program status relays R1 and R2 on an ATV320 drive?
Resolution:
The ATV320 drive includes two programmable relays:

R1 (Relay 1)
- Can be wired as:
- Normally Open (NO): R1A – R1C
- Normally Closed (NC): R1B – R1C
- Can be wired as:

R2 (Relay 2)
- Normally Open (NO) only
Follow these steps from the drive interface:
- Navigate to: CONF (Configuration menu)
- Select: FULL
- Go to: I-O (Input/Output menu)
- Choose:
- R1 to configure Relay 1, or
- R2 to configure Relay 2
You can customize relay behavior based on your application, including:
- Assigned function (e.g., run status, fault indication)
- Activation condition
- Delay time
- Hold time
- Fallback behavior
