Can I perform a hypot test on an Altivar drive, or a circuit with an Altivar drive installed?

Resolution:
It is not recommended to perform a hipot test on an altivar drive or with an altivar drive in circuit, where the test is being performed. The drives are tested 100% in production. If the high potential test is not performed properly, or if the voltage and/or dwell time are incorrect, the drive can be damaged. Damage to the drive caused by a high potential test is considered abuse and will not be covered under warranty.
