Issue:
Minimum warranty period for solar products in Puerto Rico

Product Line:
XW/XW+, Conext SW Series Inverter/charger, XWMPPT etc.

Environment:
Applications where solar grid tie and battery based inverters are installed in Puerto Rico.

Resolution:
The law in Puerto Rico requests a minimum of 5 years warranty for all renewable products being sold.

Cause:
The Conext SW has a manufacture warranty period of 2 years however there is a note in the warranty that states the following:
Length of Warranty: · 2 years unless applicable law requires a longer period in which case it will be that period of time

Note: In this case, the warranty for Conext SW units in Puerto Rico is 5 years
